MAGICAL DINING
presented by Orlando Health

August 16 through September 30

The Backroom Steakhouse is a proud participant of Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining, presented by Orlando Health. From August 16 – September 30, dine at The Backroom Steakhouse to enjoy a three-course, prix-fixe dinner for just $40 per person. Plus, through Visit Orlando, $1 from each $40 meal and $2 from each $60 meal is donated to charity and this year’s recipient, The Mustard Seed, which helps rebuild the lives of families and individuals who have suffered disaster or personal tragedy by providing household furnishings and clothing while being environmentally responsible to the Central Florida community.

Experience an enchanting evening at The Backroom Steakhouse every Saturday from 6:30-8:30pm, where magic and exquisite dining collide. Magician Michael Eaton, who first fell in love with magic as a young boy watching Johnny Carson, will mesmerize you with his world-class skills.

Having honed his craft inspired by legends like David Copperfield, Michael turned his childhood passion into a successful career by the age of 16. Not only that, but he also served as the official magician for the Orlando Magic NBA team from 2009 to 2015, even pulling off the astonishing feat of making Dwight Howard disappear (yes, really).

Michael finds joy in using his abilities to transport audiences back to a time of wonder and imagination. Today, he continues to amaze select clients while also running a digital marketing and design business and cherishing time with his family in Apopka.

Join us for an evening filled with wonder, delicious food, and the spellbinding magic of Michael Eaton at The Backroom Steakhouse.

Every Saturday Night, 6:30-8:30PM

Magic Mike

Excitement fills the air as we announce the upcoming performance of the incredibly talented singer and musician, Krista Prado, at The Backroom.

Krista, a seasoned Registered Nurse, spends her days working in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit. But when she's not tending to patients, she's busy pursuing her passion for music (since the 1980s). Alongside her husband Dennie, who joined her musical journey in 1987, they form a dynamic duo. Their two daughters, both music majors, have followed in their footsteps.

Together, Dennie and Krista make up the beloved two-piece band known as "Dennie and the Jets," which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. When they're not performing gigs, you can find them sharing their musical talents at their local church in Mount Dora. Originally from Indianapolis, Krista has since made Tavares her home, where she continues to balance her career as a nurse with her love for music.
